Molly was raised and born in Pennsylvania. She began her professional stage career when she was thirteen and was a part of the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. After that, she portrayed Little Red Ridinghood in the Arden Theater s production of Into the Woods for which she was nominated for a Barrymore Award. This role she performed again when making her Broadway d but at the age 15 with Into the Woods, on Broadway. Molly was nominated as a Drama League Award. Molly was in Broadway in the 2004 revival of Fiddler on the Roof. Then, she attended Princeton University and was a part in the Triangle Club. She graduated with a bachelor's degree 2008.
