Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her acting career began in supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the following years, she was cast in the character as reporter Willa McPherson in the FX series Dirt. She also had an important role in FX's short-lived series The Ex List. She played a young Moira O'Hara in the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and was Kaylee in the third season. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead as well as Sophie on the NBC show This Is Us. She also voices of various characters in the comedy show Family Guy. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe who is a character from Netflix's show Virgin River. Breckenridge resided in Darien, Connecticut, until the age of 10 at which point she and her mother relocated to California. There, they moved around for a year before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she began taking an interest in photography, acting and singing. Breckenridge re-located to Los Angeles with the help of her mother , who was 15.
